I've decided to do another Best of Brum post! I'm back at uni now and although the workload has hit in, it's so nice to be back! I recently visited York's Espresso Bar in Colmore Row and I really liked it.
The interior has a seriously rustic feel to it. I like the high ceilings which gives the place a spacious feel and the interior touches are really lovely as well. I love the spiral staircase and the wooden bookcases with some really nice displays.
I absolutely love the taste of bitter coffee so despite some of the temptations on the menu, such as the tumeric latte and the house chai, I ordered an Long Black coffee, or an americano and it was one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had! Bitter coffee is the nicest wake me up and for £2.30, it was well worth it.
Here's a link to their drinks menu! I would highly recommend a visit if you're ever in the area.
Are you local to Birmingham? Comment below if you can recommend any other coffee bars that I should try out!
