BEST OF BRUM- BOSTON TEA PARTY

If my blog teaches you anything about me, it's that I'm impartial to a cup of coffee or two! I make sure I work hard during the week to give me more time at weekends to go out into the city and explore new places. A visit to the Boston Tea Party has been on my list of places to visit for a very long time indeed and my first trip here did not disappoint!

The first thing I fell in love with was the area of Corporation Street, in Birmingham's city centre. The architecture of the buildings is insane! I love the look of older red brick buildings and the juxtaposition of the shabby chic interior with the grandeur of the building's exterior at the Boston Tea Party is seriously cool.

Any like-minded foodie will be pleased to know that breakfast is served all day here! That's right, you can have your poached eggs on toast with smashed avocado anytime of the day (hurray!) The menu is seriously varied, which  makes deciding what to choose all the more of a difficult task. The selection of drinks is also really varied as well, offering flavours of teas such as Jasmine Star and Dragon Well which the likes of Starbucks simply don't offer.

I had intended to pop in for a cup of coffee but when you throw a Raspberry and Mango smoothie into the equation, it's pretty hard to say no. Coupled with a slice of carrot cake and you have a very content Antonia on your hands.

I absolutely loved it here and would highly recommend a visit! It's a really nice experience and makes a nice change from more 'mainstream' cafes.

Check out their menu here! If you decide to try it out for yourself, let me know what you thought of it!
