REVIEW- AIDA (SHOREDITCH)

Shoreditch is, without a shadow of a doubt, one of my favourite parts of London. It's so vibrant and quirky and I love how it is constantly evolving, with new hidden gems to discover on every corner.

I stumbled across Aida on Shoreditch high street by pure chance. In a flash rain storm (typical London weather!) my boyfriend and I ran to the nearest (what we assumed to be) coffee shop and were delighted to discover that Aida is both a coffee shop and a menswear and womenswear clothing store.

First thing's first, Aida is Instagrammable-worthy coffee art royalty. We both opted for a coffee-free rose latte, finished with rose petals and it was absolutely insane. I love the shabby chic decor of the place too. It really fits in with the local eclectic dining scene and the general feel of the area, which has been a hotspot for young creatives throughout London in the last few decades.

As an independent concept store, Aida makes strong of its' promises to deliver quality materials and effortless style for its' customers. I am obsessed! With flattering shapes and good quality materials, many of the pieces are perfect for layering in unpredictable British summertime. The accessories mirror the simplicity of the clothes, with strong sturdy staples such as leather bags and patent brogues.  For me, the style had a real ring to it of the London A-List fashion pack, and the likes of Alexa Chung and Kate Moss.

It's clear that minimalism is here to stay and Aida is paving the way for the fashion trends of 2018. Stay tuned! (Here is a link to Aida's website. You can also follow them on Instagram @aidashoreditch.)
